Impact

Built a production-style travel booking prototype in roughly six hours, covering search, booking, admin tooling, and AI-assisted discovery in one system.

TripHaven is a full-stack hotel booking app inspired by the Expedia-style product experience.

  • Destination autocomplete and travel search launch flow
  • Faceted hotel search with filters, sorting, map support, and pagination
  • Hotel detail pages with media, reviews, amenities, and room offers
  • Auth-gated checkout and booking confirmation
  • Saved stays and profile booking management
  • Admin workspace for listings, rooms, rates, inventory, media, and reviews
  • AI assistant with tool-calling plus MCP support for hotel search and details

Why I built it

I wanted to prove how fast a skilled engineer can scaffold a serious prototype now using modern tooling and AI-assisted workflows.

This project was also a practical response to interview loops that still over-index on isolated coding prompts instead of full product replication and architecture judgment.
