TripHaven is a full-stack hotel booking app inspired by the Expedia-style product experience.
What it includes
- Destination autocomplete and travel search launch flow
- Faceted hotel search with filters, sorting, map support, and pagination
- Hotel detail pages with media, reviews, amenities, and room offers
- Auth-gated checkout and booking confirmation
- Saved stays and profile booking management
- Admin workspace for listings, rooms, rates, inventory, media, and reviews
- AI assistant with tool-calling plus MCP support for hotel search and details
Why I built it
I wanted to prove how fast a skilled engineer can scaffold a serious prototype now using modern tooling and AI-assisted workflows.
This project was also a practical response to interview loops that still over-index on isolated coding prompts instead of full product replication and architecture judgment.
